Most adult day cares offer a day program for three or more individuals in a community group setting and are located in an adult day care facility. Normally, they provide social and health-related services, but what is so vitally important about these adult day care programs, is that they support frail, impaired, elderly, or other disabled adults who benefit from care in a group setting outside the home.
