Family members burdened with Caregiving responsibilities are increasing the need for professional care management. Results of a recent study reported in the Winter/Spring 2007 issue of the Geriatric Care Management Journal showed that care management services reduced caregiver burden as well as improved care among frail older adult relatives. The data showed that family caregivers found their overall situation less stressful after working with a care manager.
